I am currently an ORISE post-bachelors research fellow at the USDA-NADC working in the Swine Virus research unit.
Currently my research focuses on bulk and single cell host-virus transcriptomic response in swine infected with Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Virus (PRRSV).
I graduated from the University of California Davis in 2026 with a B.S. in Statistics and a minor in History.
During my time at UC Davis I worked as a computational research assistant in The Bay Lab studying the transcriptomic response to heat stress in Zostera marina with PHD candidate Katie Erickson.
I am interested in all things bioinformatics and computational biology as well as general application of statistics and AI to gene expression and regulation .
Outside of science I enjoy being outdoors, watching (and rating) movies, and spending time with my beautiful girlfriend!
